A very Easy and Simple Moist Chocolate Cake ……Grab a piece
Cakes just gives you happiness , enjoy it to the fullest it doesn’t need to be perfect but homemade cakes are always the best 🙂
This is such an easy recipe , everyone can just give a try 🙂
You just need a bowl and a balloon wisker, to wisk everything together

Start by preheating your oven at 180 deg c
Greasing and lining your cake tins
Prepare buttermilk by adding milk (1 cup) to 1 tbsp vinegar and let it sit for 10 mins, then your buttermilk is ready
Seive all dry ingredients into into a bowl , mix it well
Add wet ingredients , mix and transfer to pan
Tap pans and keep in your oven for 35 to 40 mins
When done check with a skewer / toothpick
Cool and decorate
So here goes the detailed Recipe
Moist Chocolate Cake
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1½ teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 Teaspoon Instant Coffee Powder
- 1 cup Buttermilk (You can make by adding 1 tbsp of vinegar to a Cup , add 1 cup milk to it , Let it it for 10 mins, after 10 mins check it may look curdled , mix it well Buttermilk Is ready )
- ½ cup Sunflower Oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla (Extract /Essence)
- 1 cup boiling water
Method
- Preheat Oven 180 deg Celsius / Gas Mark 4
- Grease and Line your Cake tins
- Keep eggs,Butter milk prior outside , these should be in room temperature
- Add flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt and Coffee Powder to a Seiver
- Sieve well and Transfer to a bowl
- Mix well
- Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to flour mixture and mix together .
- add boiling water to the cake batter until well combined.
- Distribute cake batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick or cake tester inserted in the center of the chocolate cake comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes, remove from the pan and cool completely.
- Decorate Accordingly , I used Chocolate ganache, Pecans chopped, Raspberries, Chocolate coated Raisins ❤
